Responsibilities:
- Litigate matters across one or more of the firm's practice groups, including employment (especially wage-and-hour class and PAGA actions), and construction disputes
- Draft pleadings, motions, and briefs, and help shape case and litigation strategy
- Manage discovery and support all phases of litigation through resolution
- Carry multiple matters at once in a fast-paced environment while keeping a high bar for accuracy
- Conduct sharp legal research and analysis with consistent attention to detail
- Collaborate closely with the team while also running independently with your own work
- 1,800 billable-hour target, with pro bono hours DEI hours counting toward it
Qualifications:
- Active California Bar license
- 2+ years of litigation experience
- Solid academic credentials and writing skills
- Experience litigating government contracts, construction disputes, or employment matters, especially wage-and-hour class and PAGA actions, is highly desired
- Able to work from the San Francisco office at least three days per week under a flexible hybrid schedule
