Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement comprehensive health, safety, and environmental policies and programs across several manufacturing sites, in line with OSHA and EPA regulations
• Serve as the technical expert on all safety and environmental matters, including OSHA, AQMD, water, waste, SPCC, and EPCRA
• Lead and mentor safety committees across all sites and champion safe work practices every day
• Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local requirements, and prepare required agency submittals
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses to determine root causes and drive corrective action
• Maintain accurate EHS records and OSHA logs, including audits, inspections, training sessions, and incident reports
• Partner with the workers' compensation carrier on reporting, monitoring, and settling claims

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health, Environmental Science, Safety Management, or a related field
• 5+ years of EHS experience in a manufacturing environment, with a strong command of OSHA regulations and workers' compensation law
• Working knowledge of EPA standards and environmental regulations
• OSHA 501, Certified Safety Professional, or Advanced Safety Certificate preferred
• Bilingual English and Spanish highly preferred
• Based in or able to commute to Corona, CA
