Long-standing Sacramento-based firm with a deeply respected and growing labor and employment practice, seeking an attorney to join this flourishing group. You will handle sophisticated matters, shape how cases are run, and have a genuine hand in mentoring the next wave of talent. This is a flexible Hybrid role based in Sacramento, with 1750 billables, with approved marketing and pro bono counting towards that.

Responsibilities

• Represent public and private sector clients in labor and employment litigation and counseling matters
• Manage cases through all phases of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, motions, depositions, trial preparation, and appeals
• Advise clients on employment and personel issues
• Lead litigation and collaborate with junior team members
• Help mentor and develop attorneys within the labor & employment practice group
• Participate in netoworking and client development efforts

Qualifications

• 5+ years of litigation experience; labor and employment experience preferred
• Trial experience is a plus
• Strong writing, analytical, and advocacy skills
• Ability to manage complex legal matters
• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Active California bar license in good standing
